After using the services of various mobile DJ companies we came across 1DJ1, they were simply a breath of fresh air.
Admittedly they are slightly more expensive that other companies we have used but in my opinion they represent excellent value for money.
They are consistently reliable in terms of the quality of the equipment provided, and the DJ's who 'host' our events. A huge bonus for us is the fact that they will always set up well in advance of the event starting (generally on the morning of the event) which totally removes the stress we have had in the past of wondering if the DJ will arrive and set up in time.
Our business encompasses events from a broad spectrum ranging from student events to party nights to weddings to corporate events and conferences and without exception 1DJ1 always manage to deliver just the right level of service to suit the customer base on any one occasion.

In addition they have offered flexibility in a bespoke service by providing the equipment and a DJ to oversee some of our clients who wish to 'play DJ for the evening', this has worked really well and we're very excited to see the new myDJbox which appears to be tailor made for such occasions.
Our wedding clients love the fact that they can complete an electronic play list prior to their big day so they can be sure of all their favourite music being played, we've even had some couples ask every guest they've invited to pick their favourite song and 1DJ1 have been happy to ensure that every song is played on the evening.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Craig and his company to anyone looking for a top class DJ service, you won't be disappointed.

The Leopold Hotel & Sheffield Theatres

The Leopold Hotel. Wedding Music - Craig Rocks! I was very nervous about my choice of DJ for my wedding bse my husband and I, and by proxy or family and friends, share such varying taste in music. Punk Rock to Soul and Hip Hop. Craig only asked for a sample list from which he played the most amazing mix of music. If we didn't have to leave the venue at midnight I'd have danced til morning. Loosehill House Hotel
Craig played at our wedding on 12th sept at losehill house hotel in Hope. One word - AMAZING!!!! We had quite particular ideas about the music we wanted and he took all our suggestions on board with a smile. He asked us the kind of music we wanted to hear on the day, let us suggest some songs we loved and on the night played some cracking tunes and was happy to take requests from guests. Everyone was up dancing all eve, from old to young and there was not one bad song! We had so many compliments about the music.... I would not hesitate to recommend 1dj1. Thank you Craig!!!! Ringwood Hall
Craig did the djing for our wedding on 27 08 at Ringwood Hall in Chesterfield and it was brilliant! He listened to our taste in music and even played songs we didnt request but ones we absolutely loved, which was great as he obviously knew what sort of stuff we would like from the sort of songs we asked for! everyone commented on the music being so good at our wedding and i have to say i was the most unsocialable bride ever, as i never left the dance floor, everytime i tried another song i loved came on! thanks Lucy and Judd Colley. x |

Choosing the DJ for our wedding was a massive thing for us because I am fussy as hell when it comes to music and even though we like the same music we have very different tastes as well. I found 1DJ1 on the net and was very impressed with the packages they had to offer. We met with Craig at the wedding venue to have a chat about the different packages he had to offer and discuss our music tastes. It is definitely worth filling in a DJ request form so Craig can get a sense of the music you want and to make sure he includes your must play tracks. Craig is the nicest guy you will ever meet, he totally understood what we wanted and the atmosphere we wanted to create. On the evening itself Craig effortlessly flowed from song to song and genre to genre, keeping pretty much everyone up on their feet all night long. We had so many people commenting on how good the music was. I would definitely recommend using 1DJ1 as a wedding DJ or for any type of party for that matter. Thanks for an awesome party Craig! |

Whitley Hall
Craig from 1DJ1 DJed on our wedding day at Whitley Hall in 2010. Me and my wife both love dance music, and so we wanted to find a DJ who was good at mixing records. I called around a few companies who didn't understand mixing records and then I found 1 DJ 1. Craig met with us one night to discuss what we wanted and he was confident he could deliver what we were after - and he did! We had a great night, the setup sounded brilliant, Craig's mixing skill was good and we had a live bongo player play alongside Craig's DJ set. It was perfect. We would highly recommend 1DJ1. |
